Mr. Graham Stewart Young received a Doctor of Mortuary Science from San Francisco College of Embalming on June 25, 1936. In March 1939, Mr. Young and his wife Carol rented a house on Main Street to start Young’s Funeral Home.
On September 13, 1965, Mr. and Mrs. Young built the current Young’s Funeral Home on land that was once a dairy farm owned by the Randolph Hoffarber family. The Young’s sold the business to their son Lewis in the early 1970s. Then in 1976, Lewis sold the business to Robert and Carolyn Deuth, who operated the business until 1996.
The funeral home’s reputation for providing excellent service has grown throughout the years.Today, Young’s Funeral Home is honored to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
